CHILDREN DELUGED WITH OFFENSIVE SPAM
Internet security company Symantec commissioned a study on SPAM. Now, we all know how intrusive and sometimes offensive SPAM can be. Ads offering to increase the size of a certain part of the male anatomy, ads with sexually explicit photos embedded in them, and more. But what researchers for Symantec have found is even MORE disturbing. More than 80 percent of Net users between the ages of seven and 18 years old get "inappropriate" and UNSOLICITED commercial e-mail on a daily basis. And more than half the 1,000 young people surveyed said the spam made them feel "uncomfortable" and "offended."

As if it weren't hard enough for parents to shield their kids from the dark side of the internet, now spammers and sex pushers are joining forces to abuse our children's net experience - all to make a quick buck.
